What are the check-in and check-out times?
To ensure a top-notch experience for all our guests, we ask that you adhere to our strict check-out time of 12:00 PM and check-in time of 4:00 PM. This schedule allows our team ample time to thoroughly clean and sanitize the property before the next guests arrive.
Can we drink the water?
Our water is sourced from a deep well, and tests have consistently shown it to be clean and clear. However, we cannot guarantee that conditions won’t change in the future. While most guests comfortably drink the water during meals and use it for brushing their teeth, some prefer to bring bottled water for drinking. For added convenience, we also provide an 18L water cooler dispenser in the kitchen.
What is the ‘Check Out Checklist’?
Our dedicated cleaning team will arrive promptly after your 12:00 PM checkout to prepare the space for our next guests. Before you leave, we kindly ask that all dishes are cleaned and put away, and the cottage is left in a condition similar to when you arrived. Please ensure all interior and exterior furniture and décor are returned to their original positions. A detailed checkout checklist will be provided in our welcome guide, sent to you upon booking.
Is the property connected to a septic system?
Yes, the property operates on a septic system, so only toilet paper should be flushed. Please avoid flushing baby wipes, tissues, paper towels, or feminine products. Any clogs caused by improper use may result in guests being held responsible for damages.
Can we play music outside/use fireworks?
The Huntsville is situated on a tranquil road, offering a peaceful and serene environment. While it’s the perfect place to create lasting memories with family and friends, it is not suitable for parties, loud music, or excessive noise at night. Fireworks are strictly prohibited. We ask all guests to respect our neighbors’ right to enjoy the peace and quiet of their homes. Please note that the Armour Township Noise By-Law restricts excessive noise between 11:00 PM and 10:00 AM. Any fines resulting from noise complaints will be the responsibility of the guest.
